The #SnapmakerU1 #FullSpectrum #CMYK (actually CMYW) printing is amazing!

Got a "proper" CMYW set of filaments (discounted 3djake set because the polymaker lithophane set was sold out, I wonder why) and printed this:

(ignore the broken off piece in the back, the "flush tower" handled the "printing into the air" gracefully).

Just tried out #FullSpectrum #3dprinting on the #SnapmakerU1

It's amazing what kinds of colors can be simulated using the default set of white, black, yellow and red filaments. Not good by any measure, but better than nothing.

The Phase I jet troopers used the JT-12 jetpack, equipment that granted them great aerial mobility for assault and reconnaissance missions.#starwars #3dprinting #actionfigures #snapmakeru1

I'm wondering if any of us know anything about using an NFC tag instead of a RFID tag to label what kind of filament is on a spool. Phones can write to NFC tags, so it seems to me that if the U1 can see a NFC chip then perhaps we have a way to label film at spools that not labeled by their manufacturer.

I know that NFC is a newer subset of RFID. They both operate on the same frequency just below 14 MHz.

The alcohol marker missile turret is complete! Using my Snapmaker U1 and Plasticity to model this thing was... Quite frankly, a joy to make. Only had 1 and a half failed prototypes, but I feel confident that this is the final form!

From the moment I saw the trailer for the new series Darth Maul: Shadow Lord, I had to revisit this figure. Built entirely from scratch and taking full advantage of multicolor printing capabilities of my new @snapmakeru1 , here is this new model, packed with as much decorative detail as possible.
I’ve created all the color details using new painting techniques in Blender, far more precise than painting by hand in the slicer.

So the left side of the missile turret printed, and I used Petg for the support interface layer and part of the interface layer yeeted itself.

But does it hold markers tho? Yes... Yes it does.

Still need to dial in the settings on my U1 to get things looking right

Es passt perfekt!!! I love it!

I'm really impressed with my #SnapmakerU1 so far.

Genuinely infuriating to see how good the hardware and how bad the official software of the #snapmaker #u1 is 🫠
