Just got back to #urbana from #kmfdm at #metrochicago. They made sure the 40th anniversary was the best show they could offer. I’ve seen them five times since #bottomloungechicago in 2013 and hopefully there will be a sixth time. Only issue, usually #smartbar admission is free with an @metrochicago show. What gives tonight?

Gleaming bumpy house and techno with a tough edge. Discwoman Chicago DJ and producer explores a theatrical take of being a trans woman of colour. It just bangs so hard, sounds like a complete world, all killer, no filler. Built for big rooms but not loosing any edge. The sounds are tightly coiled ready to move you. Being a resident at Smartbar they 100% know what they’re doing.
