This looks like the (IMO) best descriptive and non-destructive disassembly so far. It also features some close-up views of the internals and also views of removed silicon chips under the microscope (magnification up to 500×). Thanks to @infosecdj for pointing me to this video!
Some snapshots from another YouTube video (from user Zerobrain) showing the teardown of #LEGO #SmartBrick. It also includes the charger. But this time no minifig. It shows a different perspective... but again very destructive. And it's in German.

Looks like a crime scene. I've done it myself: opened the #LEGO #SmartBrick. Unfortunately I've also accidentally cut some wires (not visible in the photo). Interestingly the NFC tag reading part still works though. Don't know about BrickNet though (brick to brick communication). However, that should work via Bluetooth LE. So maybe I just broke some sensing part. Off to more some other day...

Video "What’s Inside A LEGO SMART BRICK????" — Another teardown. A little less destructive it seems, as their brick still lights up.
They probably "only" damaged the wires around the actual brick. Downloaded from Instagram (user samwyattbricks), because I don't have it and you probably also don't.

I've just published another git repository on Codeberg and called it #SmartBrickToolkit: https://codeberg.org/maehw/SmartBrickToolkit -- currently it contains a Python tool to analyze firmware images (to be extracted from the SMART Assist APK). Happy to receive contributions and work on this together. Thanks to @nkellenicki for publishing his findings. This is mainly based on his work! Let me know when you've tried it out!
