The ASIC seems to handle quite a lot: NFC frontend, speaker, microphone, wireless charging + battery, LEDs and photo diode. Logic levels are 1.8V. The BT SoC connects 3 SPI peripherals: the ASIC, the accelerometer and the SPI flash. 🎉👏 Nice!

This looks like the (IMO) best descriptive and non-destructive disassembly so far. It also features some close-up views of the internals and also views of removed silicon chips under the microscope (magnification up to 500×). Thanks to @infosecdj for pointing me to this video!
