@ASegar There are multiple #AI professional societies and have been since the 1970’s. The main international AI society is: Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (#AAAI). There are also important AI societies under the auspices of #IEEE such as the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, and the IEEE Computer Society. Under the #ACM Association for Computing Machinery is #SIGAI Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence. These are just three of the oldest, well-established professional societies with significant international membership. There are dozens of the smaller societies and interest groups associated with every major topic in AI, such as machine learning, and with virtually every scholarly and engineering discipline.
