AGI - Lasciano i cinque figli, tutti minori, a casa da soli e partono per una vacanza a Sharm el-Sheikh. È successo a Trieste. Ad accorgersi che in quella casa stava succedendo qualcosa di anomalo, probabilmente attraverso i racconti di uno dei bambini, è stata un'insegnante, che ha segnalato il caso ai Servizi sociali del Comune.
E così dopo un sopralluogo con la Polizia locale sono quindi state attivate le misure di protezione e bambini e ragazzi sono stati trasferiti in una comunità. I due genitori - come racconta Il Piccolo - in occasione del compleanno di lei, erano partiti per una vacanza sul Mar Rosso lasciando tutti e cinque figli a casa da soli.
Le misure di protezione e il destino dei minori
Una volta attivati i Servizi sociali e le procedure di sicurezza, i cinque minorenni sono stati trasferiti in un primo momento all'IRCCS materno infantile Burlo Garofolo per verificare che stessero bene. Contemporaneamente è stata inviata un'informativa alla Procura dei minori ed è stata avviata, da parte dei Servizi sociali, la ricerca di una comunità idonea ad accoglierli. I genitori sono stati informati di quanto stava accadendo. Nell'abitazione sono stati trovati anche animali domestici, per i quali il Comune ha trovato strutture adeguate a garantire loro cure e sicurezza.

It was a teacher who noticed that something unusual was happening in that house, probably through the accounts of one of the children, who reported the case to the municipal social services.

And so, after an inspection with the local police, protective measures were activated and the children and teenagers were transferred to a residential community. The two parents – as Il Piccolo reports – on the occasion of her birthday, had left for a vacation in the Red Sea, leaving the five children alone at home.

Protective Measures and the Fate of the Minors

Once the social services and security procedures were activated, the five minors were initially transferred to the IRCCS materno infantile Burlo Garofolo to verify that they were well. Simultaneously, a report was sent to the juvenile prosecution and the social services began searching for a suitable community to welcome them. The parents were informed of what was happening. The residence was also found to contain pets, for whom the municipality found appropriate facilities to ensure their care and safety.
