So, i said Shadowgate 64 had cheap deaths...
Well, sometimes the game does do you a solid.
Honestly, at this point, it should be natural selection, right?
So, usually, I will wait until I have finished a game to talk about it, but I think this game needs to be thrown out there right now.
#ShadowGate64 is a really fascinating game. It is the sequel to an old point and click adventure game. But what we have here is a fully 3D, first-person, adventure game on the #N64 complete with all the hallmarks of old school adventure games!
Cheap instant deaths ✅️
The world's deepest pockets ✅️
Getting lost and using inventory items on everything ✅️
Uses way more words than necessary to describe mundane things or actions, but you love it anyway ✅️
Honestly, I am finding this all quite captivating and fascinating, I am not sure what it is! It's certainly a game that requires some level of patience and could do with a something on screen to help you know what environmental thing you intend to interact with. Either way, I am definitely sticking around for the gothic fantasy atmosphere!
