Charles Townsend, English minister, considers the responsibility of the people to end slavery. With a mere declaration of their will this grevious oppression should end. Else they are “lending themselves to uphold” the institution.

Today, do we accept grevious oppressions because a “little declaration of will” would be a bit too much to ask?
