Thinking again about #SemanticCurrency, my qualitative complement to quantitative scarcity-based measures of wealth.
The value of semantic currency emerges from the *meaning* of a service rendered, an alternative abstraction to a *number* of a scarce token like bitcoin, dollarbucks, or gold.
Dollarbucks enable economics to scale up so that we don't each have to track a billion relationships, but rather can track a number: our account balance.
Semantic currency would, too, but differently.
these four fields are ALL THAT IS NECESSARY to kick capitalism.
capitalism is scarcity mediated by currency. That's it.
#semanticCurrency is not scarce. it is "minted" (though no "mint" is involved) by writing a record of the event.
SC value is established by _semantics_. The _meaning_ of who, why, and how. the story is relatable. people understand. it is recorded so the value flow may be tracked. it is kept so debt may be *not repayed* but, yes, reciprocated.
* who fills
* whose needs
* for what purpose, and
* how
that's all anyone needs to find work,
start a business,
get into supportive networks of people,
manage community resources,
live sustainably,
support the oligopoly less,
have *real* security instead of forever trying to keep the balance of an account high enough.
