Our longstanding Labour MP knocked on our door canvassing for local election in May. We're both longtime Labour voters, but my partner said she probably wouldn't support them this time.

He immediately accused her of going to vote Reform.
When she said she would never vote Reform and was likely to vote Green he said they weren't standing in our ward (not true). His parting comment was that we would get Reform elected.

I don't know how he thinks he is helping the Labour Party.
