Follow-up on "WTF..." (June 4, 2026). I have remembered why I have never accepted the offer of membership in Experian's IdentityWorks after previous security breaches. Their multiple-page privacy policy states that they can collect reams of information about me and share it with their affiliates/3rd parties for targeting/ advertising, etc.
I could maybe opt out of some of it, but that's somewhat obscure and involves contacting various Google and other entities. (I've been trying so hard to separate myself from Google.)
However, I like the sound of their using their technology to search "the web, chat rooms & bulletin boards 24/7 to identify trading or selling of your personal information on the Dark Web."
It all makes me tired.
