Bicycle seat post saga. This did not work to make the tube water tight. Need to make it so lye can dissolve the remaining aluminum. (There are bits of seat post still in this tube). Going to now attempt to plug the holes with a hot glue gun. If it holds water, will dump drain cleaner crystals into the seat post tube. #biketooter #seatpost
Hmm, looks like a plumbing torch can melt aluminum. 🤔

Aber die Gefahr des Rahmenverziehens ist nicht zu unterschätzen, denn die Kräfte werden schnell substantiell. Und im Vergleich zu dem, was Phil da aus den Sattelrohren rauszieht, waren meine Problemfälle lächerlich.

RichardI just installed an ncx suntour suspension seat post today on my bike(hard tail). Tested it and I can ride my bike on rough terrain(curb) seated comfortably. However it's kind of weird how I 'bob along' changing the distance between saddle and pedal (one of the advantages of a dual-suspension where the frame is suspended instead of the saddle alone).
