I only remember one consultation. So when was the second?
The results of that consultation, which I contributed to - along with thousands of other trans people, have never been published.
The EHRC indicated they hadn't even bothered to read all the submissions!
Why no discussion of the alternative to taking the SCJ ruling - amending the Equality Act so it's fit for purpose?
Isn't that what the EHRC is supposed to be for? Ensuring equality?

La primera reforma afectaba el bolsillo de los medios de comunicación que viven de adular a los gobernadores y no de informar a sus audiencias. La segunda blindaba la conferencia mañanera. Eso fue lo que invalidó la Suprema Corte. Pero los ministros no quisieron discutir sobre ello y, en vez de ir al fondo de lo aprobado por mayoría por diputados y senadores, prefirieron erigirse en garantes de la forma en que ambas cámaras legislativas decidieron.
