I'm not down with FOIP requests by candidates against candidates during the election period. I'm not sure how potential integrity issues should be handled but not the way one candidate's team is doing it. I suppose I'd favour dropboxing that stuff to media. Don't weaponize city staff. #OttPoli
Does the driver union agree? Were they part of that appraisal? Our new GM needs to demonstrate his ability to engage effectively with transit unions within OCTranspo. #OttPoli

This can't be done with the lowest tax increases in Canada. Vote accordingly if you love your axles. #OttPoli

One "solution" to the DND parking / transit issue would be do the mini autonomous shuttle pilot previously proposed for Tunneys to Moodie. The distance and volume is about the same. #OttPoli
Such a disappointing approach. Impose a temporary governance structure and address refurbishment around activity. We don't close airports when renewing them. We don't need to destroy a third space to improve it. #OttPoli #PlacesForPeople

I’m a fan of rules. But look at what’s killing people #ottpoli
A 130k truck with a blind spot a city block long can drive double the speed limit with impunity in the city. No speed limiter. No restrictions. A red carpet paved with the dead. But the handwringing about scooters and now batteries. Sigh. #ottpoli

Some Ottawa city councillors are calling for Ontario's fire code to be updated to more heavily regulate indoor storage and charging of e-bikes and other electronic devices because of the risk of battery fires.

Sigh, Mayor @[email protected] names drops 4 men's teams and zero women's teams when describing Ottawa as a sports city in his intro to the proclamation for the Accessibility Day which has a subtheme of inclusion in sports. #OttPoli
