As a VA resident represented in the Senate by the best examples of what's wrong with the Democratic party, (Tim Kaine was one of the traitors who signed into the shutdown ending "compromise) the likelihood of meaningful resistance from them or their equally corporatist Democrat peers is effectively nil. Sadly, the best hopes of meaningful #resistance are members of the House — none, that I'm aware of from the VA delegation — where a #SandInTheGears approach is significantly harder to pull off.

So, yeah. Not a great place to be.
