When it was shut down by Doug Ford, it moved in, and locals immediately began to protest the impact the clinic was having. It closed, only for an identical private clinic to open.
Safe consumption sites work. Private medicine does not. Ford is killing us.

The first solutions are simple: make sure people have a roof, food, support, care.
Stop blaming people for being under the bus when we are the ones who put them there, and for God’s stop throwing people under the bus!

Funny thing is that this was never referred to by anyone as an ‘overdose’, but instead as ‘alcohol poisoning’.
Why? Because he had a home.
Somehow - because he had access to people, money, care - he was not blamed for what happened; it was a medical issue rather than a moral failing.
