A ★★★ review of Running Time (1997)

I'll be completely honest: I was only interested in "Running Time" because it stars Bruce Campbell, who always amuses me, regardless of the film's quality. The film uses the classic gimmick of being "shot in one take," and the fun part is trying to spot the hidden cuts. Unlike other films, "Running Time" doesn't try to hide them, which makes it feel less pretentious and more inventive. It's the same reason I enjoy Hitchcock's "Rope" … oh yes, I just compared a B-movie to Hitchcock! "Running Time" flows smoothly and features great dialogue. The title is fitting, as the runtime
