#RTEInvestigates last night did a great job of explaining how all the far right talk about "genuine concerns" and "illegal immigration" and "protecting women and children" and "housing the Irish homeless first" is completely superseded by mindless gibberish from violent street thugs.

Well done @barryokellyrte. We can but hope that your #RTEInvestigates #InsideTheProtests prog. reaches & enlightens the wider public about what we on social media have been warning about for yrs. Hopefully it will also bring overdue attention to the failure of policing policy.

Just finished the excellent #RTEInvestigates on the recent far right/racist protests in Ireland.

And as was said in the programme, as shocking as the footage is, it shouldn’t be a shock to anyone.

There has been a growing far right/fascist movement in Ireland for at least 10 years.

Anyone who kept an eye on well known conspiracy theorists could see exactly what was happening. Instead of taking them seriously most people laughed at them including the media & politicians.
