SPACEBALLS(TM): THE ROLEPLAYING GAME!

(Seriously, someone should do this.)

@billbarrdottech @EmilsGameRoom Er, not quite. In the Wield RPG, the PCs (magic items) have the capability to grant powers to their wielders. For example, if a gauntlet has the power of fire, it may be able to provide the ability, at the lowest end, to ignite a candle up to, at the highest end, rain hellfire down upon an entire subcontinent. The item also has the ability to force its will upon its wielder. But, the more power it grants, the weaker its ability to enforce its own will becomes. So the PC would have to determine how much do I trust this person vs how much do I want to achieve my goals.

@DMDan Bags, as you can see, including the obligatory Crown Royal bag so many gamers I know have. One exception is my Fudge dice, which are still in the original container. #TTRPG #DnD #RPGChat
#RPGChat question of the day: How much world/setting lore do you like to know/use in your games? If you're a GM do you give your players a lot of info? If you're a player do you use this info to influence your character?

@BeefGriller I feel like that's a useful but separate thing?

If I want to let people know that random tabletop RPG site is having a sale, #TTRPG works in ways that #RPGChat doesn't. I don't want to chat, I just want to direct eyeballs.

But if I *do* want to engage in a conversation, then both #TTRPG and #RPGChat feel right, if that makes sense?

So, one of my players took near-human ancestry for Orion's Reach and now I'm mulling what that unusual parentage should be. I am glad I have time to decide, at least. #TTRPG #RPGChat
Philadelphia pub seems ripped from the pages of a fantasy novel

With the help of this Philadelphia spot, your date night just got a lot more fun, and your time out with friends a little geekier...in a good way, of course!

Plus I like new players! I played the second game of Sat with a young women who only plays a couple of times a year, and a young man with her that plays less then that. The hobby needs new blood!

That saidddd....teens? Inexperienced people? Totally fine. I've introduced a LOT of people to the game. My playtests had people who had never played before in it. #RPGchat

The second game...whoa boy that was a hot mess. I list my games as all ages as I tend to run things light and fun, but I'm now thinking of listing them as pg-13 not for any content but to keep young kids out.

But I'm worried that would keep people like me out, as I don't like gore or dark things? (I know, weird for someone with Cthulhu as a major game they play) #RPGchat
