Comme toujours j'adore. Agréablement surpris de la manière dont elle crée des personnages qui questionnent poids des normes sociales, de classe, de différence et de handicap... très intéressant dans ce roman de #fantasy!

Book review: The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb

I loved Hobbs beautiful and introspective writing style; her world and character building; and her depiction of themes such as loneliness, otherness and powerlessness. Most of all, I loved the depiction of the interconnectedness of all life through the magical Wit bond between the protagonist and the wolf. All in all highly recommended.

a.k.a. the Tawny Man trilogy

I'm part way through the Elderlings series, of which this is one segment. In a way, this trilogy is a bit like one giant book, because the second and third books each pick up where the previous one left off.

I felt this was the best set so far, as a set. They're beautifully paced: always something unfolding, never rushed.

I'd still recommend starting from the start of the series, because this builds upon the previous books - especially upon the first trilogy.
