Does anyone else draw a direct mental line between the city of Krondor's thieves' guild in the #RiftwarSaga (The Mockers) and the thieves' guild in #Skyrim (inner circle: The Nightingales) // Krondor's assassins' guild in the Riftwar Saga (The Nighthawks) and the assassins' guild in Skyrim (the Dark Brotherhood)? Magician: Apprentice has been pretty good so far. It's pretty basic as far as fantasy goes, but that's, surprisingly, not a hindrance. It's light reading and doesn't try to be something It's not. There's just enough danger and unknown things happening that I find myself happily compelled to see what happens next.
