Michael Z.Magician: Apprentice has been pretty good so far. It's pretty basic as far as fantasy goes, but that's, surprisingly, not a hindrance. It's light reading and doesn't try to be something It's not. There's just enough danger and unknown things happening that I find myself happily compelled to see what happens next.
