Promising Young Woman 2 - as the original Promising Young Woman (2020) was unexpectedly profitable, you knew a sequel was coming. Some #retconning was required to re-establish the character of Cassandra, who memorably died in the original film. Carey Mulligan returns for a large paycheque, with an otherwise all-new cast.
