Cold open, Riker is cooking breakfast. Doctor Pulaski distinctly refers to omelettes. Then Riker finishes mixing the eggs, pours them into a hot pan, and *scrambles* them.
It's fumbled details like these that keep Star Trek from being seen as legitimate science fiction.
