Just found a poem that explains what #ReplyGuy is, which I wasn't aware before.
Just retain some dignity and keep the old yap shut, though I am the master of throwing out my dignity. 😁
As far as trite posts, AKA shit posting, I like doing that. I see it as part of running my account as I see fit. I try to not needlessly offend, but it's up to the reader to filter that shit out.

@iwein
now when #greenpeace is celebrating the partial ban on meat ads in #netherlands, i think it's fair to ask #greenpeace themselves to stop taking money from the #meat industry to advertise #meat products.
it's less of a #replyguy problem and more of a #hypocrisy and #speciesism problem.
my reply doesn't kill anyone, but #greenpeace's meat ads do:

@LibertyForward1 I left Xitter because of the #ReplyGuy influx. On Facebook there were a lot of #SeaLions & because I was an activist fighting Gun Violence, they would pop up & just want to have an honest "conversations."
I fell for it a few times until my friends in the Anti-Gun violence movement clued me in to just post memes back at them.
Here's link to the classic #sealion cartoon by David Malki! (He spells his name with an exclamation point, like so: David Malki!) https://wondermark.com/c/1062/

New canonical example of the Dunning–Kruger Effect just dropped.
The ReplyGuy-ism and sense of entitlement — Vance thinks he's owed the opportunity to a "debate" about theology with the Pope, or that he can school the Pope on religious doctrine — is breathtaking.
