So I have less than a week to come up with $500 for a fortnight's rent, and I'm still unemployed which I'm trying to fix, but it's not going well. I'm pretty much out of things to sell (See pins), so I'm begging again.

I need $500 for rent, and I'm still about $200 short on my overdue water bill.

I'm still unemployed, and trying to fix that (interview today - thursday), but I still have rent and bills, and this week is particularly rough.

I have a phone/internet bill due on the 16th (covered and paid).
A water bill due on the 19th ($60/$250 - current goal - overdue).
And then rent at the end of the week (covered and paid). I can probably be a little late on the water bill if I have to, but I can't risk the phone/internet (I need them to get a job) or the rent (because life).

So I need about $900 in total. Please help if you can, or boost if you can't.

I'm sorry I keep begging, I've run out of stuff to sell that wouldn't put me in a worse position without it, and just don't know what else to do.

On the other hand, if you know anywhere looking to hire a C developer, Javascript developer, webdev, unix sysadmin, storeperson, cleaner, dishwasher or whatever, either remotely or in Brisbane Australia, let me know? Even just once-off odd-jobs would do for now.

Oh great, so I'm not eligible for job-seeker allowance (unemployment benefits) because I "turned down a job offer" (this is the "you can have your job back if you move closer" 'offer' by my previous employer, who waited till the day I was due to return from medical leave to tell me they hadn't kept my position available and had changed the shift hours so that public transport was no longer an option anyway).

Fuck this year.

Hopefully I get one of the jobs I've applied for soon. But I need to pay rent today and only have $406 of the $500 I need for that.

Hey Fedi, so unless something magical happens I need help paying next fortnight's rent.

I had six weeks off work for medical reasons, only to be told on the day I was due to return to work that my position hadn't been kept for me.

So I'm madly applying for jobs, but unless I start somewhere last week (I did not) I'm not gonna get paid in time to pay the rent.

Which means I need $450 (of $500 total) to cover rent by the end of the week. A little extra for food would be nice, but I do have the basics (rice, beans, flour, oil, seasonings), so it's not critical yet. Rent though must be paid.

On the other hand, if you know anywhere looking to hire a Unix sysadmin, C developer, Javascript developer, tech support, storeperson, petrol station attendant, cleaner, or whatever, either remote or in Brisbane AU, let me know?

I had a job interview today (Wednesday) which I'm hopeful about for the future, but it won't help for right now.
