Regular attendance is important in every grade! In last year's grade 1 reading assessment data we noticed that the more absences a student had, the less likely they were to meet the reading targets at the end of the year. The blue bar represents the percentage of students reading at or above grade level target and the orange bar represents below grade level. Reading at grade level is an important factor in success for students and regular attendance is a key. #attendancematters #readytolearn
What a difference a good night's sleep makes! Bedtime isn't always a fun parent job but regular routines like reading to your child, sharing stories, bathtime and more make it easier. We appreciate the hard work parents put in that helps their child to be ready to learn at school the next morning! #readytolearn #attendancematters #sd60

There are 20 school days in April. Can your child attend each one and get 20/20?

Attendance matters! All day, every day, great learning and life experiences happen in classrooms. Kids need to be there to get the benefit and parents play a most important role in getting kids to school ready to learn.
