Had a parcel out for delivery three times this week. They only actually tried to deliver once; the other two they ran out of time. Parcel delivery side of #RoyalMail: 2/10.
Postie however delivered some mail this morning, so I asked him. He went back to the depot and looked for it personally, found one (but that wasn't late 🤦♀️) + brought it round.
He's just been back again, found the late parcel, and brought it to the house. Postie side: 11/10.
It's a cliché but a good one, when someone can't quite cover their groceries and you see the person behind them cover the difference.
I would have done the same but it's just as nice to see someone else #beKind.
Brain being a bit off today, it took me longer to get to the shops for #dateNight pizza than I planned.
Then, the shop had payment issues so I had to come back home and get my actual card.
Then I forgot milk, so I had to stop in at Spar.
All of which put me in the right place at the right time to help someone else struggling with their own shopping, and make their day a little easier and nicer.
Things aren't always bad even if they seem so to start with. 💜
