I'm not in any of these groups, but having listened to and learned from so many in the #BlackTwitter, #QueerTwitter, and #DisabledTwitter communities, I have some faint secondhand sense of the tragedy involved in them having to leave and rebuild.

If I leave 🐦, much of the value lost for me will be those voices, but if they leave, their loss will be much, much deeper. I hope that they find a new, better home, and I hope to find them again.

As a rando, watching Twitter implode is fascinating.

As someone who really loved the sense of community I found in #BlackTwitter and #QueerTwitter, I'm heartbroken.

As a SWer (virtual ProDomme), I'm so used to having platforms taken away from me that I'm numb. A good 90% of my clientele found me via Twitter. I don't even know how to start over yet again. It's exhausting. I like my job! I don't want to quit, but I'm tired of being chased away from all of the internet.
