haven't been too well recently. i made some sketches last night and just now kinda stream of consciousness amateur graphic design'd it and embraced the serendipity. (I have a degree in this! lol) this feels a little nice to have made. you happen to like this, then that is a strange plus

Star Ocean: Divine Force will just keep vibrating the controller if you pause mid-cutscene. Which is... hilarious.

Last year, I promised myself that I'd play all of the available Star Ocean games... because they were my (deceased) younger sibling's favorite, and I needed some forum for processing that grief.

I stopped after 3 of them, though, because I was bombarded by various things.
I'm taking the last two available games back up, this year, as I approach the anniversary of their death.
Beginning with The Divine Force.

Today, I've done all the things except active caretaking that I need to do (today, anyway).
So I'm taking it easy between taking care, and getting into the next #starocean game on my list for #queergrief #videogames
It's also the only one I've played previously, Star Ocean First Departure R.

I finally finished the Star Ocean: Last Hope game that was *probably* my sibling's game hyperfixation as a teen.
The ending seems right for that.
I'm sure I had no reason at all to be restless all night.

I am trying *so hard* to finish Star Ocean: Last Hope, in tribute to my sibling...
But the system is so tedious that I can only do it in short bursts. At this rate, the star ocean games will take me longer than the FF games, and there are far fewer of them.
