🚀 Excited to share that I delivered my first-ever #PyConAU talk: "Serpents and Ducks: Wrangling Data with Python and DuckDB" .. and it's now online! 🐍🦆

Ned Letcher and I are passionate about @duckdb and its incredible potential to transform data workflows. From handling billions of rows to seamless integrations with Python tools like Pandas and Ibis, DuckDB empowers data folk to tackle complex problems with ease and elegance.

It’s weird how I love attending Python conferences, but always walk away from them feeling a little inadequate. Of course I’m entirely adequate; I’m just in awe of a bunch of amazing people. #PyConAU #PyConAU2024

My talk was referenced in @chelsea's templates sea shanty she wrote during #PyConAU2024 for her talk! Not only did I do the thing (presenting for the first time at #PyConAU) but people got something from it (including song content hahaha)!

I had a blast at this year's #PyConAU and am looking forward to the next one :)

Today's second talk in the DevOops track: Ash Bek on REST and overriding (and maybe overloading) dunder methods. Really refreshing to see native Python used so neatly.
