Venus, the crescent moon and Mercury were accompanied by a beautiful purple light (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afterglow) at dusk today.

The purple light disappeared relatively quickly as the sun sanke deeper below the horizon. There are just 6 minutes between the two pictures.
