I know it sounds like good news at first glance, but I feel sick to my stomach. Literally, like I might throw up.
They're going to vote on my marriage again. The first time, we didn't think our fellow Californians could do the unthinkable, but more than half did.

@MikeDunnAuthor Do I ever remember that. I was rejoicing for a full two minutes before realizing Gav's impetuousness could set the whole movement back years. And it almost did -- his public statement that same-sex marriage was going to happen "whether you like it or not" was used as a soundbite over and over and over by the anti-gay forces in their push for California's #Proposition8.
I love the guy -- sometimes. And sometimes I want to shout at him to STFU. That was one of those times.
