Concert 27 of the #Matthewpassion today, this first day of #Easter. Last one tomorrow. I'm pretty beat.

On my way to #Leiden for a #MatthewPassion, then after that straight to #Amersfoort for a soloist job in #Rossini 's #PetiteMesseSolennelle. The conductor couldn't get over how vulgar that latter one is... Which is true. But it's also just really nice music, to sing and to listen to.

My #Brompton is decked out for the journey—food and clothing and sheet music in the front basket, my suit on the back. The suitcase is a really nifty design by #Lat_56. On some days I can get away with just the suitcase, but not today.

Bach is always watching. On my way back home from a day filled with rehearsals. From tomorrow on I have 46 concerts until halfway through May... And then pretty much nothing so far for the rest of the year. Not ideal, but that's part of the singer's life!

Visited lovely #Antwerp for an audition yesterday. Unsuccessful, unfortunately (that's a baritone's life for you), but it was nice to visit the city again.
