I'm a fan of #problematicfave David Chang. But in his memoir, he laughs about ppl not getting that his cookbook's "Red Dragon sauce" was just ssamjang.

Except it /wasn't/. He called for ssamjang itself as an ingredient in it, rather than gochujang. It ends up a weird sorta double ssamjang.

Jack Kirby in 1971 perfectly encapsulatin' how I feel 'bout Superman. This is why he's the king!

What're some a' yer problematic faves?

Why finding out your favourite creator or Internet celebrity is a problematic person - or "milkshake duck" - is all too common...

Everyone has said and done stupid shit on the internet, and thus anyone could become a Milkshake Duck at any moment.

Polygon [also owned by Vox] writer Julia Alexander [...] suggested that to avoid these labels, one should not worry about what statements they may have made, but whether they show awareness that they made them and that they have grown past or changed away from them.

Woo! #GoBlue Bring on the Sacrificial Lamb from the West, and let's see that #1 seed for the CFP. #ProblematicFave

Helga Hey Arnold. That's tsundere before Americans knew the term.

Or if you have that interpretation of a frankly #ProblematicFave of a play, the taming of the shrew, some people read the heroine as Tsundere, especially if they do the "modern" take of the ending, where she is not "Battered Down" but agreeing to play this bullshit game too

#MovieBowl is a #ProblematicFave because it doesn't consider the fact I've seen like 10 movies in my entire life. â€‹

TOO PRIVILEGED

(This is a joke don't cancel movie bowl)

Recettear is a #ProblematicFave because it encourages capitalism in a facade of cuteness. Also no one has made a new / better version of it and its been over a decade
