Revisited a stack of old work armed with a scalpel and some spray paint, 1 week later I had a stack of 52 collages. A very fun and worthwhile exercise.

Happy birthday to German-American theoretical #physicist Maria Goeppert Mayer (1906-1972), the 2nd woman to win the Nobel Prize for #physics. As the series of increasingly large atomic nuclei grows with additional nucleons (protons p & neutrons n) from hydrogen to transuranic elements, there are points where the binding energy of the next nucleon is a lot lower than the last. 🧵
