Perhaps no artist understood the strange visual experience of being in and seeing a room like Richard Hamilton. In “Berlin Interior” he combines multiple photographs in an etching to create a portrait of space in planes. And the dark pools on the floor by the open window make us think of painting or murder.

#ArtThisHouse recommends putting this one in the most ambiguous space in your home, perhaps in that atelier with the unfinished wall.

reactions on the quantum scale, virtual particles and anti-particles popping out of the vacuum on borrowed mass-energy and of quantum foam. There’s a lot of information hidden in these whimsical little diagrams telling the story not only of possible subatomic reactions but, for those who know how to use them, they allow easy calculations of probability and physical quantities.

I wanted to see more about making prints with a rolling pin and patterns cut out of foam rubber. I know how it works, there was a tutorial on a kids show. I just wanted to see it, because it looks so satisfying...

And then... Then I found a video of someone making prints with a pasta machine and the metal lined tetrapacks. And this will probably never go out of my mind until I have tried a very improvised version of this.
