This would be good for people who want to get more involved in #FreeSoftware but are starting from zero (as untrusem was). If you know anyone who could benefit from attending, do share it with them 
We are looking to raise funds to provide bursaries to people promoting #Prav / #xmpp in different conferences / events. Unlike Operating System or Office Suite, messaging apps is not only personal choice.
We have setup a dedicated fund for this:

We have some funds from #PravConf sponsorship, but more would help us support people going to many more events like #BiharFOSS or #LucknowFOSS where we don't have many local community members.
#Prav started working as a #cooperative since #PravConf (two weeks already). We were working on the bye-laws and looking for people willing to join as members for over 2 years already.
Now we have https://prav.app/coop/ which lists the Office bearers, Board of Directors and Members.
Board is elected by members for a two year term. So far we have #Dalits, #OBCs and #Christians in the board. Inviting #underrepresented to join as members and serve on the board.
@ravi @fossunited Since we don't have any community members from #Bihar, this would mean people have to travel from UP and Delhi (we got two volunteers) and trains are all booked. So we have to look for tatkal or flights. We have some funds left from #PravConf, but more donations / sponsorships would help.
Conferences in places like Bihar is very important since they don't have an existing big Free Software community.
