Assertions that AI will replace all the people in prestige, status, hierarchy, and dominance games (e.g. law, investment, arts), is pretty strongly refuted by the existence of Stockfish.
Stockfish can basically beat all the chess players, yet people continue to play chess. Ditto AlphaGo/go.
People will either just integrate (and make rules about) the new tools, like we have all the other tools, and move on
@rasur I have zero actual knowledge of what people do when making YT videos. But I assume unless they are themselves really into music making, they would either be using some equivalent of library music or assembling something out of royalty free loops. Either way, I'd be surprised if there were any musicians making the works, apart from the payment for the library recordings.
Of course I could well be speaking out of my arse.
