With the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness well underway here in Glasgow, I thought I'd re-post one of my favourite photos of the city wrapped in Autumnnal fog. It was taken early one September morning shortly after this bridge between Govan and Partick was first opened in 2024. I'd intended to take a person-free shot, but then the guy in the yellow jacket strode out of the mist.

Seems like someone forgot about how big the Spring tides are at this time of year are when desiging this floating pontoon beside the Pointy Bridge on the Clyde in Glasgow. In case you're wondering, the difference between this evening's low and high tides will be 5.03 metres (usually its less than 4 metres).
