Old and new Clyde crossings in Glasgow. On the left is the former southern entrance (known as the South Rotunda) to the Glasgow Harbour Tunnel, which opened in the 1890s and closed to vehicles in the 1940s and to pedestrians in 1980. On the right is the Clyde Arc, better known as the Squinty Bridge, which opened in 2006.
Early morning on the Clyde in Glasgow.
The Clyde at sunset with (amongst other things) the South Rotunda, the Squinty Bridge and the Glasgow Tower all reflected in the mirror-calm water.
Reflections in the Clyde. I love how the statue at Paisley Road Toll lines up perfectly in the gap between the two modern buildings in the foreground.

Another shot from last night's trip along the Clyde in the gloaming. I love the mix of shapes, colours and silhouettes in this photo.

Good morning, Glasgow, and what a start to the day! This is what it looked like on the Clyde waterfront at about 9am.
Emblem of the Glasgw Humane Society on its headquarters on Glasgow Green. Founded in 1790, by members of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, the Glasgow Humane Society aims to preserve human life in and around the waterways of Greater Glasgow. At 34 years older than the RNLI, it arguably operates the oldest continuing lifeboat service in the world.

The rather beautiful bell of the Archibald Russell. Constructed by Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company in Greenock in 1905, it was one of the last square-rigged sailing ships built on the Clyde. The Archibald Russell was withdrawn from service in 1948 and was broken up in 1949. Its bell can now be seen on the Glenlee Tall Ship in Glasgow.
