@real_jamescain local Facebook groups partly fulfill this, but this needs you to put up with everything else on there. Prior to that, Gumtree and Freecycle, I imagine they got absorbed by Facebook and Nextdoor. The 'Only in Meersbrook' Facebook group in Sheffield is 75% people trading scobys and plant cuttings. Swapping free stuff is one use of social media where big reach is justified. Anyway, I have some plant trades in Sheffield if anyone is interested? #sheffield #plantswaps
