#23 Upgrading Pinecil V2 with a hall effect sensor
Yessssssss - just got the #pinecilv2 and hooked up an adapter for my tool batteries. Excited to start using it for field soldering and away from my workbench around the house and studio 👀
@arnelson to be fair it's not required nowadays to have that much space or wait for a workstation setup.
I simply got #pinecilv2 - (usb-c solder) from @PINE64, and together with good tip like bc2 (much easier to use) and some good solder wire like #kester to assemble my first mechanical keyboard.
Soldered few #pmw3360 since then as well :)
#omnifixo makes it even easier (but not required)
My whole setup squeezed between two #corne halves:
Does anyone know why my #pinecilv2 isn't wetting the pad or the pins properly?
It's Set to 350°C asked I'm using lead free rosin core solder.
Sorry for the terrible video, I knew I should have grabbed my tripod lol #soldering
Also I know I know, I tinned the iron with too much solder and didn't add any to the joint but still it should have wetted a bit right?
Hey #Pinecil users out there!
We've bought several #PinecilV2 for our #hackerspace / #makerspace but we still need nice soldering iron stands (easy to use, suitable for kids). Let us see your solutions, ideas and proposals!

Freue mich grad sehr über die neue "Lötstation" ☺️.
Die auch seit dem letzten Firmwareupdate Daten per BLE verschickt. #Iot
