@actuallyautistic I was just listening to this fascinating conversation between Harry Thompson and Paul Micallef (Autism from the Inside): https://youtu.be/dCBtAABsSVQ

It starts with a brilliant conversation on #AutisticMusic and #AutisticCulture, with discussions on PDA and instrumental practice, playing as stimming, #autistic #PDAer creativity, and even a wonderful insight into Harry's synesthesia and its influence on the creative process.

I highly recommend it if, like me, you are interested in #NeurodivergentCulture and #NeurodivergentMusic!

@rabia_elizabeth @actuallyautistic I'm also #AuDHD and a #PDAer, it's a hot mess! šŸ˜‚

I enjoy familiarity and *very loose* routines (anything too rigid and it triggers demand avoidance), but also crave new exciting things.

I find that having different options of what I need to be doing (say, by the end of a week) and then following my instincts for what I feel like focusing on helps me hyperfocus and reduce anxiety and demand avoidance. Well, most of the time anyways!

self-reflection question of the day: when are you gonna wake up and fight for yourself?

I’d love to see your replies šŸ«¶šŸ»šŸ«¶šŸ»šŸ«¶šŸ» and good morning from the US east coast!
