More passion flowers appeared today, blooming for just a few hours. It seems my plant has caught a second breath and it's showing promise of more flowers this time around.

De eerste passiebloem van dit jaar in mijn tuin. Wat vorig jaar zomer begon als een stekje via een buurvrouw is nu uitgegroeid tot een enorme lange string van blaadjes en bloemknoppen. Vanaf nu moet ik zelfs zorgen dat deze passie mijn vroege clematis niet gaat overwoekeren.

Maar goed, de eerste bloem is er, mogen er vele bloemen (en wellicht ook vruchten) volgen!

The first passion flower of the year in my garden. Only last Summer this was a small thin cutting from a neighbor and now I have to ensure this plant does not choke its neighboring clematis plant.

I'm happy to see the first flower, may it grow many more and perhaps even some fruits!
