@ct_Magazin Wollte jetzt eigentlich sagen, dass partkeepr besser ist, aber scheinbar wurde das Projekt vor ein paar Monaten komplett eingestellt :(
Finally migrated my small #partkeepr instance to #partdb, so I can now shut down that old #Debian Stretch VM 😄
The migration went fairly well although the result needed some adjustments, but that's to be expected.
Globally very satisfied with it, except regarding the part info page, which forces you to constantly switch between "tabs" to access basic info, while a good two thirds of the screen stays empty.
Hey, @Part_DB, is there any way to contribute without creating a github account?
According to the Part-DB user survey, many users (24%) have used Partkeepr before to manage their #electronics #inventory, and decided to switch to Part-DB as it has a similar concept and functionality but is actively maintained.
Part-DB allows you to easily import your existing #partkeepr database, so that it is easy to switch to Part-DB and get the additional features.

Correct us if we're wrong, but if your docker image requires the user to trigger a download of python packages after spinning up a new container...
You're not using docker right, right?
The python deps. should be in the image, right?
Anyhow, we're experimenting with
#InvenTree https://inventree.org/
It looks like a far more modern version of #PartKeepr, but its setup could use a bit of polish :P
