Aren’t these the prettiest colors? I bought this yarn for socks but It just isn’t right so I’ve held onto it for a year trying to figure out what to do with it. Now that I’m making a gazillion hand hugs it seemed like a good fit. Hopefully after a wash it softens up a bit.

Todays experiment in fibers. I wanted to take my fingerless gloves to the next level and add a flap. It didn’t seem like it would be too hard. I think I’ve used three different sock techniques to get this! When I was learning how to knit last year someone was aghast that I started with socks and said “if you can do socks, you can do anything”. I don’t agree but you sure do learn all the basics!

I have been knitting this 2nd sock for what feels like months, though it’s only been a few days. It amuses me that my 2nd ball of yarn is different than the first as you can see in the black & what portions. I don’t mind so much since they’re just for me.
I really just want to knit a sweater now though. Probably because of the first #$%#@$% snow
