Alternating with my HiyaHiya Sharp DPNs and my Prym Ergonomics DPNs with my spiral socks, and I don't know which one I like better! I like both of them, for different reasons. I like the really sharp points of the HiyaHiyas, but I also like the teardrop-shaped points of the Pryms. I like how slick the HiyaHiyas are, but I also like how light the Pryms are. I normally don't worry too much about whether a needle is light or not, but with DPNs, it matters more, because half the needles are waving around unsupported, which can drag the work down if they are too heavy.

The only drawback of the Pryms is they become a bit too non-glidey when the weather is hot, but right now it is balmy.

I found the schematic for #ZabetShawl2!

The idea of being that if you start with a reasonable quantity of yarn (2200+ yds), and then divide it into 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32, you can knit each triangle in turn, picking up stitches from the previous triangle to make sure they are all joined, and in the end you have an asymmetrical shawl that will curve around your body. You will always have enough yarn, because there will be 1/32 left over.
