When I was a kid, my parents would never order potstickers at restaurants because they could in theory make them although they rarely did. Now, I order them because I love these thick skinned dumplings. So much heartier than the thin and factory made covered dumplings. Still thinking about brunch at Oiseau Bleu. #Ottawa , this place outside Chelsea is yummy and very cute!

As far as I can tell, it's run by the same people that run Le Hibou in Wakefield. (Another all-time favorite place.)

I had the Avocado Toast - Guacamole, 2 poached eggs, coriander, pickled onions, fruits, breakfast potatoes... probably should have taken a picture but I devoured it too quickly.

A recommendation for Hintonburg's "Carben" if you haven't tried it. They're still doing well.

We've been visiting them for years, but it's our first visit since the start of the pandemic. So glad they survived the lean times.
