Monday, I started with an excursion to Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh to greet the sun, and wrapped up with a trip to Rush Lake to say goodnight. It was crazy warm for early March, about 70F for a high, and next Monday is a low of 9F. I hate the way March and April can mess with my mind, but I tried to take it all in. There were many flocks of Redwing Blackbirds, Canada Geese, and even a couple of flocks of White-fronted Geese. #oshkoshwi #wisconsinnature #birds

A few weeks ago, I was playing troll, under the HWY 41 bridge over Lake Butte des Morts, looking towards Oshkosh. The moon was just a sliver then, unlike today's full moon. Not much graffiti under the bridge, but it was fairly fun and family-friendly, but I'd prefer it if it wasn't there. #OshkoshWI #winter #sunrisephotography

Earlier this week, I wandered out into the cold at sunset on Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh and got some pictures to take home. We took a quick trip out into the snow today to look for ducks on the Fox River and Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, WI. Hooded Merganser, Mallard Duck, and Ring-billed Gull. I saw a few others, but they were too far away, and it was too snowy for good pictures or proper identification. #ducks #birds #winter #oshkoshwi
